Microsoft Billion Dollar Facilities Add On

Billy Okay, so I am not sure if Microsoft spending a billion dollars on new facilities and a new bridge qualifies as "Current Affairs" but it is definitely an affair for Northwest natives who have watched this software giant through all of its booming, and looming and well now, grooming, for new growth. Part of the investment will be spent building a bridge over Seattle’s 520 bridge – one of the bridges that connects downtown Seattle with the growing East side of Seattle.

Apparently, part of the exodus of faithful employees (besides Google’s romantic offers of fame and fortune) has been grumbling about no more private offices which the software giant was once famous for. The additions will bring shared "team spaces" to encourage collaboration, a far cry from the independence that the private offices encouraged. So count your cubicle blessings I suppose, you could be sharing an office with your entire team today! Any one out there want to comment on Microsoft’s billion dollar project? Enjoy your Friday.
